Thankfully, that’s what we’re here for, and on this page, you’ll find some amazing bonuses and promotions with very low wagering requirements. We’re also going to talk more about wagering requirements, including looking at what they are, how they work, and how to find low wagering slot casinos.

Finding Casinos with Low Wagering Slots

In the past few years, more and more US online casinos have opened their doors than ever before. Thankfully, this has forced many of these sites to offer very low wagering slot games - and this is perfect for players like you, as you can claim a bonus with low wagering requirements ! Be sure to check out our top slot sites with low wagering requirements on this page!

Why Choose A Low Wagering Slots Site?

In the ever-evolving world of online gambling, players are constantly on the lookout for the best deals and bonuses. Some of the most attractive are low wagering bonuses. The primary advantage of low wagering bonuses is that they have significantly easier playthrough requirements compared to traditional high-wagering bonuses. This means players have a much greater chance of actually cashing out their bonus.

In addition to this, low wagering requirements provide players with a more realistic chance of winning money from their bonus. With less money needed to be wagered, players can potentially increase their overall returns on investment, making the gameplay more cost-effective and enjoyable.

In our experience, low wagering slots sites often emphasize transparency more than other online casinos. This ensures that players are aware of the requirements and potential limitations before signing up and accepting a bonus. This ensures you know exactly what the terms are before depositing any of your own money – and can help avoid issues later down the line.

What Are Wagering Requirements?

Wagering requirements, also known as playthrough requirements or rollover requirements, are a crucial aspect of online gambling bonuses that players need to be familiar with. These requirements dictate the amount of money a player must bet before they can withdraw any winnings derived from a bonus, ensuring a balance between the interests of the casino and the player.

When players register at an online gambling platform or slots website, they are often offered sign up casino bonuses as incentives, such as free spins, deposit matches, or no deposit bonuses. However, these promos come with wagering requirements attached to prevent players from cashing out their winnings immediately, which would put the casino out of business!

Wagering requirements are typically represented as a multiple, indicating how many times the player must wager the bonus amount before they can withdraw their winnings. For example, if a player receives a $500 bonus with a 10x wagering requirement, they must place bets totaling $5,000 ($500 x 10) before cashing out.

Players should always read the terms and conditions of any bonus offer to understand the specific wagering requirements involved. These requirements can vary greatly between online casinos and slots websites, with some requiring as low as 1x and others as high as 60x or more.

Meeting the wagering requirements can be more challenging with higher multipliers, as the player must risk a larger amount of money to unlock their winnings. This is why low wagering bonuses have become increasingly popular, as they offer players a more achievable target and a better chance of profiting from the bonus.

What Does Low Wagering Mean?

A low-wagering bonus is a type of online casino incentive that requires players to wager a smaller amount of money before they can withdraw their winnings. These bonuses are considered more player friendly as they are easier to convert into withdrawable cash when compared against conventional bonuses.

Regardless of whether you play at slot sites in Pennsylvania or any other state, low-wagering bonuses usually have wagering requirements of 1x to 20x the bonus amount. This is in stark contrast to what you’ll see with many other bonuses; as we saw earlier, some bonuses can carry wagering requirements of 60x or even higher.

Players almost always prefer low-wagering bonuses as they offer a more realistic chance of profiting from the bonus without investing excessive time and money. These bonuses strike a balance between the interests of the casino and the player, ensuring that the casino retains some protection while providing players with a better chance of being able to cash out a win.

How To Find Low Wagering Bonuses?

If you’re looking for low wagering slot sites and bonuses, there are a few things to keep in mind. Firstly, you should research different online casinos and slots websites, paying close attention to their bonus offers and terms and conditions. If you want bonuses with low wagering requirements, you’ll want to look for turnover requirements in the 1x to 20x range.

Online gambling forums and communities are valuable resources for gaining insights from other players who have experience with low-wagering bonuses, as they often provide useful information and recommendations. Additionally, bonus comparison websites that specialize in listing low-wagering bonus offers can save time and help you identify the best deals available.

Subscribing to newsletters from your favorite online casinos is another effective strategy, as they often announce new promotions, including low-wagering bonuses, directly to your inbox. However, the most effective way of finding the best slot sites with low wagering requirements is to choose one of the casinos we recommend – all of which have been hand-picked and reviewed by our team of online gambling experts.

How to Claim Low Wagering Bonuses

To claim a low-wagering bonus, first register for an account with the online casino offering the low-wagering bonus. Ensure that you provide accurate information to avoid any issues during the withdrawal process. If the bonus requires a code, enter it during registration or while depositing, as specified in the terms and conditions. If no code is necessary, the bonus will typically be applied automatically.

If the low-wagering bonus is a deposit match or requires a minimum deposit, make the necessary deposit using one of the available payment methods, we recommend PayPal. Before withdrawing your winnings, ensure that you meet the low-wagering requirements by placing bets according to the terms and conditions.

Once you’ve met the wagering requirements, navigate to the withdrawal or cashier section of the website and request a withdrawal of your winnings. Follow any instructions provided by the casino to complete the process.

What are wagering requirements?

Wagering requirements are the conditions you must meet before you can withdraw any winnings earned from a bonus. Lower wagering requirements make it easier to meet these conditions.

Why choose a low wagering slots site?

This means you can potentially cash out your winnings more quickly and with less risk of losing your bonus funds. It’s an ideal choice for players who want to maximize their chances of winning while minimizing risk.

A Detailed Guide on How to Become a Casino Dealer

747 live live basketball

If you have a fascination with the fast-paced world of casinos and are looking for instructions on how to jumpstart your dream career as a casino dealer, look no further. This page on how to become a casino dealer will show you exactly what steps you need to take to join this exciting world! Whether you’re simply intrigued by this fascinating industry or actively seeking a new professional chapter, this guide has got all your bases covered.

How Long Does it Take to Become a Casino Dealer?

How long does it take to become a casino dealer? The time it takes to become a casino dealer largely depends on one’s location and the required qualifications. In most casinos, training may take anywhere between two weeks and four months. Aspiring dealers must master various skills such as dealing proficiency, customer service, and casino policies and procedures.

To become an expert in card games such as blackjack or poker, it is vital to study hand rankings and betting strategies. You also need to learn how to shuffle and deal cards quickly with precision. Part of learning how to be a good casino dealer is being able to think quickly – and you need to understand the ins and outs of games you’ll be dealing so you are able to do so.

Since this is a competitive industry, dealers are advised to have excellent problem-solving skills, since they could encounter accidental mistakes resulting from players’ misunderstandings of game rules.

How Much Do Casino Dealers Make?

How much do casino dealers make? The exact amount a casino dealer can earn in the United States is determined by numerous factors, including experience, the location and size of the casino, and prior levels of education and training.

However, according to current industry statistics published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics in May 2019, the median hourly wage for gaming dealers across all states was $12.94 per hour. This implies that half earn more than this figure while others receive less. The lowest 10% earned less than $9.17/hour whereas 50% received between $9.27/hour and about $16.75/hour. Many earn just above that, and the top gaming dealers earn over $22 an hour.

The earnings accrued from tips further increase these base salaries, so that experienced dealers who provide a quality service within limit rooms or luxury casinos could potentially take home tens or even hundreds of thousands each year. However, like the players themselves, dealers rely on luck; they are usually only tipped well if the player is winning.

It’s also worth noting that some casinos pay their dealers on a commission basis rather than an hourly rate. This can significantly boost wages beyond the national benchmarks we looked at earlier, although it can, of course, go both ways.

Casino Dealer Training: What to Expect

If you’ve decided you want to become a casino dealer, you’ll need to enroll in a casino school. These training programs teach potential new hires both theoretical classes and comprehensive hands-on practical sessions. During these sessions, students learn everything they need to know about dealing casino games. There’s a lot to cover, and these schools are often pretty intense.

Teachers screen trainees in specific areas like table layouts so that they will get used to handling different pot sizes while delivering proper customer service. You will play live casino games in a simulated environment, and the teachers will monitor all areas of your performance.

Expect your trainers also to observe your dealing etiquette (e.g., keeping your eyes on the deuce continuously), quick math (pot calculations) when applicable, and your level of confidence when awarding payouts.

Through regular practice combined with frequent feedback, you’ll be surprised how quickly you pick up the art of casino dealing – but it’s not an overnight profession to learn, and you can expect to spend a minimum of four weeks training, and usually six or eight.

Essential Skills for Casino Dealers

In a casino’s fast-paced and high-pressure environment, being a successful dealer requires a range of essential skills beyond simply understanding the games themselves. Firstly, dealers must have strong customer service and communication abilities to interact effectively with players from different backgrounds and personalities, maintaining professionalism even in cases of difficult or disruptive behavior.

Secondly, they need to have excellent math skills to quickly calculate payouts and ensure each bet is accurately accounted for, and winnings paid. Moreover, perfect coordination is key; dealers must simultaneously manage running the game, while keeping an eye on players, and dealing with any questions or problems that players encounter.

If you want to know how to be a good casino dealer, then you’ll also need to develop quick reflexes to keep games running fluidly. Another useful skill is being good at listening, ensuring all players feel heard and making sure they’re not ignored if asking questions.

Obtaining Your Casino Dealer License

To get a croupier license in the USA, an applicant must decide what state they’re planning to work in. This is because every state has different rules and regulations. The specific requirements for applying for a license vary depending on the state; however, usually, they involve a background check and completion of a training program.

Some states require applicants to have a degree or higher education, while others only require a high school diploma. Some of the strictest states even require applicants to give their fingerprints and take a drug test!

Those who meet the necessary qualifications will need to submit an application and pay any associated fees. From there, they may need to take an exam to demonstrate their knowledge and skills related to dealing specific games such as blackjack or poker. This is why it’s so important to properly research what skills are needed to become a dealer; it’s not as easy as you may think!

Once a student has been awarded their casino license, it’s time for them to start job hunting! However, most applicants don’t realize that there are loads of factors to take into account. Not all dealing jobs are the same, and what might look like small differences can have a big impact on the job itself.

For example, one applicant might want to look for job openings at high-end resort casinos – they often pay better and provide healthcare plans. On the other hand, some applicants will prefer to work for a small, family-run casino that has more of a personal touch.

Networking with industry peers can be helpful in finding job opportunities that fit one’s skill set and preferences. Another approach is to conduct research online or through professional associations that represent casino workers such as the National Indian Gaming Association.

By being proactive and persistent in pursuing employment opportunities within this exciting field, prospective casino workers can find themselves well on their way toward building fulfilling careers at casinos across the USA. The bigger the casino, the more staff they need – so check out the list of the five biggest casinos in the USA, below for ideas!

Advancing Your Career as a Casino Dealer

Casino dealers often want to advance their careers; this can be achieved by acquiring knowledge of new games and improving skills. A good way to accomplish this is to consistently practice dealing games – even basic ones, like blackjack or baccarat. It’s also possible to take specialized courses or obtain certifications in specific areas of gaming like poker.

In recent years, land-based croupiers have started asking how to be an online casino dealer. While it may sound like a good career path, the reality is, those dealing live dealer games for online casinos are usually paid a lot less than their land-based counterparts. They rarely get tipped, and working conditions are often reported to be harsh.

Another avenue for career development is pursuing leadership roles within the casino hierarchy. Dealers who exhibit an outstanding work ethic could eventually be promoted into supervisory positions overseeing other employees’ performances on the floor.

What are the prerequisites for enrolling in a casino dealer training program?

There are no prerequisites for starting a casino dealer training program, other than the fact you will need to be at least 18 or 21 years old, depending on the state that you live in. Before starting your training, it’s a good idea to have basic math skills, good manual dexterity, and strong customer service abilities.

How do tips factor into a casino dealer’s salary?

Tips play a significant role in a casino dealer’s salary, often making up a substantial portion of their total income. The amount of money that a dealer can earn in tips depends on several factors such as the games they deal, their customer service skills, and the location and type of casino they work in.

Do all casinos require dealers to have a license?

Yes, almost all land-based casinos are required by law to make sure their dealers have a license. In some states, a permit is required instead. Every license is valid for a certain period of time, and they are issued by a gaming commission or regulatory body. However, specific licensing requirements can vary depending on the casino’s location and the types of games being dealt.

What are some ways to stand out when applying for a casino dealer position?

To stand out when applying for a casino dealer position, focus on showing off good customer service skills, in-depth knowledge of the games, and strong dealing abilities. A well-crafted resume never hurts, and going the extra mile to write a cover letter will greatly improve the chances of standing out in the job search process.

Can casino dealers advance into management positions?

Yes, casino dealers can advance into management positions. It’s actually one of the most common career progression routes for croupiers. Aside from an increased salary, managers oversee other dealers, manage the casino floor, or work in the security team. A croupier wanting to advance their career may require further education or experience in the casino industry.

Revealed: 10 Unique Casino Games You Should Play

747 live live basketball

In today’s post, we’re going to be taking a deep dive into ten unique casino games. We’re willing to bet you’ve probably not heard of most of these games – and even if you have, there’s a good chance you’ve never actually tried them in a casino setting! From unique slots to card games dating back to ancient China, let’s look at some of the most unique gambling games in the world!

10 Unique Online Casino Games

The 10 unique casino games we’re going to be showing you today are found at some online casinos – but not all! They vary in age, they come from all corners of the globe – and, in our opinion, many of them are a fantastic alternative to the traditional games and slots you’re probably used to playing.

For each game, we’ll do our best to look at the history, rules, and strategies. If you’d like to try any of them for yourself, make sure to play at one of the top online casinos in the US.

Unique Slots? Try Pachinko Instead!

The history of Pachinko dates back to the 1920s and it’s probably one of the best known unique online casino games on this page. As many will know, the game was created in Japan, where it originated as a simple mechanical game. Pachinko combines elements of pinball and slot machines, making it perfect for players wanting to try something different.

While it’s not easy to find the game offered at Western-facing online casinos, it is available at some. It’s also incredibly easy-to-play; you simply launch balls into the machine and try to navigate them through a series of obstacles to reach specific targets. In the world of online gambling, these targets often trigger slot-like payouts, awarding you a cash prize – or more balls to drop into the machine.

Of course, there’s no skill involved in online Pachinko games – so it’s not quite like the original game. Still, it’s a nice alternative to even the most unique slots. However, if you don’t fancy giving it a go, check out the best online casinos for slots instead.

Fan-Tan: An Ancient Chinese Game of Chance

Fan-Tan is an ancient Chinese game of chance that historians have, amazingly, managed to trace back for thousands of years! With its simple rules and engaging gameplay, it’s become popular at online casinos in recent years – especially at those targeting Asian markets. It’s also widely available as a live dealer casino game, with major software providers like Evolution offering their own spins of the game.

Fan-Tan is simple; the game’s objective is to guess the number of remaining beads after they have been divided into groups of four. To kick things off, the dealer first places a random number of beads under a small cup. Players then place their bets, attempting to guess the number of beads that will be left after the dealer splits them into groups of four.

Once all betting has finished, the dealer lifts the cup, reveals the beads, and divides them using a small stick. The game’s outcome is then determined – and if your bet is a winner, you’ll be paid your winnings accordingly!

Fan-Tan’s simplicity and straightforward betting system make it an easy game to learn and enjoy. While there is no foolproof strategy for winning, understanding the odds and making informed bets can increase your chances of success. As one of the lesser-known casino games, Fan-Tan provides an intriguing alternative for players looking to explore unique and exciting gambling experiences.

Mahjong: A Traditional Chinese Tile Game

Mahjong is a traditional Chinese tile game that dates back to the Qing dynasty. It’s believed to be one of the oldest casino games in the world, although it’s rarely played by non-Chinese gamblers. The game is also pretty complex at first, so there’s a bit of a learning curve for beginners!

Mahjong is usually played by four people, and it involves taking and discarding tiles to try and make a specific combination or set. The game uses a total of 144 tiles, and there are three different suits used, namely bamboos, characters, and circles. There are also honor tiles, like dragons and winds, as well as bonus tiles, like flowers and seasons.

The goal of Mahjong is to be the first player to form a complete hand of 14 tiles, which usually consists of four sets and a pair. Each set can be either a “pong” (three of a kind) or a “chow” (a run of three consecutive tiles of the same suit).

When the game’s action starts, the dealer will give each player 13 tiles. Players then take turns drawing and discarding tiles until someone completes their hand, at which point they’ll announce “Mahjong” – just like you’d hear people saying “Bingo” when they fill their card.

Mahjong is often played for fun or small stakes among friends. However, in recent years we’ve started to see Mahjong tables at some casinos, although it’s still rare. These casinos generally use standardized scoring systems to determine payouts.

Mahjong is a game that definitely fits the bill of being one of the most unique online casino games around. It’s tough to learn, so don’t be discouraged if you don’t understand everything right away!

Sic Bo: A Dice Game of Chinese Origin

Have you ever tried Sic Bo? It’s yet another casino game that’s been around since ancient China, and it’s been winning people over in casinos everywhere. In fact, the game’s so popular, pretty much every live dealer casino provider now offers it!

Sic Bo is all about guessing the outcome of three dice that get rolled. You can bet on tons of different results, like specific numbers that you think will be rolled, or even the total figure the dice will add up to. Many online casino variations also offer unique side bets, too.

Sic Bo is one of the easiest games to play on this unique gambling games page – yet despite its simplicity, it can actually produce some pretty decent wins, especially if you choose some of the riskier bets that offer much higher odds!

Baccarat Banque: The Original Baccarat Game

If you’re into baccarat, it’s well-worth checking out Baccarat Banque. It’s the original version of baccarat – and while it’s nowhere near as popular as today’s version of the game, it’s fun to play as there’s a bit more strategy added into the mix.

In Baccarat Banque, players go head-to-head against the dealer. Unlike conventional baccarat, this version of the game is always played with three decks of cards. Like normal baccarat, your goal is to try and form a hand as close to nine as possible. However, the player who places the biggest bet gets to choose to be the dealer; if they don’t want to be the dealer, they can instead assign the role to another player.

The betting options are the same, but in Baccarat Banque there are even more wagers to place. For example, you can bet on the specific outcomes of individual hands, so there’s higher win potential. Players can also request additional cards, so you have a lot more control over what you’re doing.

In our opinion, Baccarat Banque feels like a cross between classic baccarat and Chemin de Fer, and you’ll need to use some strategy to have the best chance of winning.

Red Dog: A Simple and Fun Card Game

Red Dog, a super simple card game, is easy to learn and fun to play. It’s categorized as being a poker-inspired game, although this is a pretty loose definition, in our opinion. Red Dog is all about betting on the value of a third card falling between the first two cards. It’s easy to learn, and the payouts are easy to understand, as shown in the table below:

The “spread” is the difference between the first two cards. The payout awarded to players depends entirely on the spread. As you can see, it’s a very simple game – so many online casinos have added side bets to provide a bit more action and win potential to players.

Casino War: A High Card Game Based on War

Casino War is basically the childhood card game War, but with a casino twist. It’s a card game where you and the dealer each get a card. If your card is higher than the dealer’s, you win; if it’s lower, you lose. Sounds simple, doesn’t it?

Well, what makes Casino War a bit more exciting is when you and the dealer both draw the same card. This is called a tie, and if this happens, you go to war! In war, you can either surrender (and lose half your bet) or double your bet and draw another card. The original principal then applies once again; whoever draws the highest card wins!

Pai Gow Poker: A Unique Poker Variant

Pai Gow Poker is a slow-paced, stress-free card game that combines the ancient Chinese game of Pai Gow with modern-day poker – so it’s classed as a poker game. However, you play against the dealer, rather than other players, using unique poker tables.

While some people believe Pai Gow Poker dates back to ancient China, it was actually created in the 1980s! It became an instant hit in Vegas, and today, you’ll find it offered at almost all online casinos.

Pai Gow Poker uses a standard 52-card deck; however, there is also one additional card – a joker. The objective is to create two separate poker hands – a five-card hand and a two-card hand – from the seven cards you’re dealt. The five-card hand, known as the “high hand,” must outrank the two-card hand, or “low hand.” Players then compare their hands to the dealer’s, aiming to beat both of the dealer’s hands to win the round.

One key aspect that makes Pai Gow Poker stand out is its relatively slow pace, as hands often end in a tie, leading to less frequent losses. However, this laid-back gameplay may not appeal to all, especially those wanting fast-paced, action-packed gameplay found in casino table games like roulette.

Keno: A Lottery Style Casino Game

Keno is a lottery-style casino game that has been popular for centuries. It’s all about selecting a set of numbers and hoping they match the ones drawn. With simple gameplay and the potential for big payouts, the best online keno sites are the perfect place for players seeking a low-stress, high-reward gambling experience.

However, despite being one of the 10 unique casino games listed on this page, we should point out that Keno has a huge house edge; sometimes it can be almost 50%! We’d recommend having a couple of rounds – but nothing more – as the odds are hugely stacked against you.

Scratch Cards: Instant Gratification with Every Card

Scratch cards offer instant gratification and a quick thrill for casino-goers. They’re easy to play and require no skill – just (virtually) scratch off the surface to reveal the symbols or numbers underneath. If you uncover a winning combination, you’ll receive a cash prize.

Scratch cards at online casinos can work in the same way as those you’d buy in a store – but many game developers have started to add elements from video slots, like bonuses and features. You’ll find online scratch offs for real money at most casino sites, usually in the “Instant Win” section.

What makes Pachinko different from traditional pinball games?

Pachinko is a unique Japanese game that combines elements of pinball and slot machines. Unlike traditional pinball games, players aim to catch balls that trigger slot-like payouts, making it more about chance than skill.

How does Fan-Tan differ from other casino games?

Fan-Tan is an ancient Chinese game of chance, where players bet on the outcome of a random process involving beads and a small cup. Unlike many casino games, Fan-Tan relies on a simple betting system with few options, making it easy to understand and well-suited for beginners.

What sets Mahjong apart from other tile-based games?

Mahjong is a traditional Chinese tile game, typically played by four players. It requires strategy and skill, as players must form specific combinations of tiles to win. Mahjong’s unique rules and rich cultural history set it apart from other tile-based games, and it’s always highly popular with Chinese players in US casinos.

What are the key differences between Pai Gow Poker and traditional poker games?

Pai Gow Poker is a unique poker variant that combines elements of traditional poker and the Chinese domino game of Pai Gow. Players receive seven cards and must create two separate hands, one with five cards and another with two cards. The unique gameplay adds an exciting twist to traditional poker.

What is Keno?

Keno is a lottery style casino game that offers instant payouts and simple gameplay. Players choose a set of numbers, and if their numbers match those drawn, they win. The game’s appeal lies in its simplicity and potential for large payouts, making it popular among casual players.

How to Build an Online Casino Winning Strategy

747 live live basketball

In today’s online casino winning strategy guide, we’re going to be showing you the best way to approach playing casino games. With the right approach, you’ll improve your chances of winning – and decrease your chances of losing! We’ll cover several topics, including looking at specific game strategies, bankroll management tips, and how to maximize bonuses for a rewarding gaming experience.

Best Online Casino Strategy: Tips and Tricks

In this blog, we’ll explore the best online casino strategy tips, offering advice for some of the most popular casino games around. We’ll delve into strategies for roulette, blackjack, and online slots, as well as look at tips for managing your bankroll, the best way of leveraging bonuses, and the psychology of gambling. By understanding these topics, you’ll be well-equipped to increase your chances of winning and make your gaming experience more enjoyable.

Mastering Roulette: A Comprehensive Online Casino Strategy

When it comes to roulette, a comprehensive online casino strategy is vital. Knowing which bets to place and which to avoid can significantly impact your success. In general, we recommend sticking to outside bets, such as red/black, even/odd, or high/low, as they have better odds compared to inside bets like single numbers.

Selecting the right roulette table should also be part of the best online casino strategy. Look for tables with favorable odds and payouts, such as European or French Roulette, which have a single zero and a lower house edge compared to American Roulette with its double zero.

A well-defined strategy for roulette involves understanding various betting systems, such as the Martingale or the Fibonacci. These systems can help you manage your bets and bankroll effectively. If you’d like to try one of these systems out for yourself, check out the best online casinos to play roulette.

However, remember that no strategy guarantees a win, and each spin is independent of the previous one. Practicing responsible gambling and setting limits for yourself will ensure an enjoyable and sustainable gaming experience. Casinos simply wouldn’t exist if roulette strategies actually worked – so keep this in mind and use them as a bit of fun, nothing else.

Bankroll Management: Minimizing Losses and Maximizing Wins

In this section, we’ll focus on the importance of managing your money effectively while gambling. A key aspect of any successful online casino strategy is knowing how to set limits and stick to them.

Begin by determining a budget for your gambling session, including the amount you’re willing to lose and a target for winnings. By setting these limits, you can avoid the temptation of chasing losses or playing beyond your means.

Divide your budget into smaller units, known as bankroll units, which will be used for individual bets. This approach helps you gauge your progress and make informed decisions on when to increase or decrease your bets.

A crucial part of bankroll management is knowing when to walk away. If you’ve reached your loss limit or achieved your win target, it’s time to stop playing. This strategy – while sometimes pretty hard to implement – will help to prevent you from losing more than you can afford. As an added bonus, it can also help you walk away when you’re in profit!

Unlocking the Power of Bonuses and Promotions

All online gambling strategies should include a mention of bonuses and promotions. Claiming bonuses is an essential aspect of any online casino winning strategy. By taking advantage of these offers, you can increase your chances of winning without risking your own money.

Before claiming any promo, regardless of whether it is in PA, Michigan, or the best-ranked online casino bonus in NJ, always check the terms and conditions. This way, you’ll know the wagering requirements, payment method exclusions, and anything else that might impact your decision on whether to claim it.

Sign up for newsletters and follow casino websites on social media to stay updated on the latest promotions. Some common types of bonuses include:

  • Welcome bonuses: These are offered to new players and can be matched deposit bonuses or free spins.
  • No deposit bonuses: You receive a bonus without needing to deposit any money.
  • Cashback offers: You get a percentage of your losses back, either as real cash or bonus money.
  • Reload bonuses: These are deposit bonuses for existing players.
  • VIP programs: Joining a VIP program can give you access to exclusive promotions, higher deposit limits, and other perks.

By taking advantage of sign up bonus offers and ongoing promotions, you can extend your playtime and potentially increase your winnings. With some of the bonuses, you can even enjoy playing casino games without having to risk any of your own money!

The Psychology of Gambling: Mind Over Money

If you’re wondering why we’re talking about the psychology of gambling in a strategy guide – well, we admit, it’s not the most conventional topic! However, even though it might not sound like something massively important, we think it can really help players improve their time gambling.

Think about it; every casino game is designed to make as much money as possible. This means that you can quite easily spend more than you want to, unless you know how to effectively control your spending.

A lot of this, in our opinion, comes down to your mindset. It should go without saying that you should never gamble while in an emotional state. If you do, you’ll probably end up making reckless decisions that could cost you a lot of cash.

Keeping your emotions separate from the gambling that you’re doing and successfully maintaining self-control is really important if you want to walk away a winner. The psychology tips we’re about to share apply wherever you gamble! Let’s take a look at the top three:

  • Set realistic expectations: All casino games – whether it’s casino table games like blackjack or video slots – have a house edge. This means the casino will always win in the long run. As a result, try to view gambling as a means of entertainment, and nothing more. Do not think of it as a way of earning money, as this can lead to you losing a lot of money.
  • Avoid emotional decisions: It’s important to keep your emotions in check. By doing so, you’ll be able to avoid making impulsive bets – something that’s a lot more likely to happen when you’re losing a lot of money.
  • Take breaks: We always recommend taking regular breaks, even when you’re winning! Stepping away from the table for five minutes can help you stay focused and avoid becoming too engrossed in a game.

By understanding the psychological aspects of gambling, you can make more informed decisions, manage your bankroll better, and, ultimately, enjoy a safer gambling experience.

Blackjack Basics: Strategies for Beating the House

Whether you’re looking to play blackjack online or head to your local land-based casino and sit down at a physical table, you’ll find the world’s most popular casino game offered in virtually every casino on planet earth! While it’s a pretty easy game to get the hang of, most players don’t know the best ways to improve their odds of winning.

Below, we’re going to show you some of our favorite tips to use at the Blackjack table:

Learn basic strategyReduce the house edge and improve your odds
Avoid taking insuranceIncrease the RTP of the game
Practice regularlySharpen your skills and build confidence
Choose the right tableFind tables with the best rules and payouts

If you can remember to use these tips next time you play blackjack, you might be surprised at how much better you do! Of course, it’s mostly luck at the end of the day, but these tips will, at least, help you make the best mathematical decisions – so your odds of winning will physically improve.

Online Slot Machine Strategy: Spinning to Success

Pretty much every online and land-based casino in the world offers a huge selection of video slots, and online slots are particularly fun thanks to their higher RTPs and, sometimes, progressive jackpots! To see the best of them, check out the best online slots in the US!

While there’s no real online slot machine strategy, we’ll share a few tips and tricks you can use when playing online video slots:

  • Choose games with a high RTP: The RTP indicates the average amount of bets returned to players over time. Video slots with higher RTPs means a player will win back more money in the long run.
  • Utilize free spins and bonus rounds: These features can boost your winnings without additional wagers.
  • Manage your bankroll: Set limits for your gaming session and adjust your bet sizes accordingly.
  • Check the game’s volatility: High volatility slots have bigger, less frequent payouts, while low volatility slots offer smaller, more frequent wins.

One thing we should point out is that all online slots operate using a random number generator system. Without getting too tech-y, this means that the result of every spin is random, and independent of the previous spin. Because every spin is completely random, there aren’t really any proper slot machine strategies, so your best bet is to claim bonuses and promotions and choose video slots with high RTPs!

Famous Female Gamblers: Vanessa Selbst and Jennifer Harman – But Who Else?

When it comes to discussing the most famous female gamblers of all time, there are always two names that appear: Vanessa Selbst and Jennifer Harman. These women are both professional poker players, and to be fair, they’ve done an insane job – both winning millions of dollars!

However, their fame often means that many other influential female gamblers are overlooked – and today, we’re going to do our best to change that. We’re going to take a look at some of the other famous female gamblers who’ve made a big impact in the offline and online gambling world.

Barbara Enright: Trailblazer for Women Gamblers

Barbara Enright is a trailblazer in the world of poker and has become an icon for countless women in the industry. She’s best known for being the first woman to reach the final table at the World Series of Poker Main Event in 1995, sparking a surge in interest among women in the game.

Enright’s impressive career includes three WSOP bracelets and her induction into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2007, solidifying her status as a pioneer for women in poker. Her success is not only due to her outstanding poker skills but also her determination in overcoming adversity.

Throughout her career, she faced skepticism and discrimination because of her gender, but Enright continued to defy her critics, consistently demonstrating that women can compete at the highest level in the game.

Her determination and accomplishments have contributed to a more inclusive and diverse poker environment, paving the way for future generations of female poker players.

Kelly Sun: Master of Baccarat and Edge Sorting

Kelly Sun, a master of baccarat and edge sorting, has made a name for herself in the gambling world with her incredible skills and strategies. Edge sorting, a controversial technique that involves identifying small imperfections in the patterns on the backs of playing cards, has been the key to her success.

Sun’s journey began in her native China, where she developed a passion for gambling. After losing a lot of money, she became determined to learn edge sorting. She decided to apply it to baccarat – the same game poker pro Phil Ivey won millions of dollars on. Armed with her newly learned skills, Sun made a remarkable comeback – winning back all the money she’d lost, and a lot more!

However, like many in the gambling industry, Sun’s story is not without controversy, as some argue that edge sorting is cheating. Despite legal battles and challenges, she continues to hold a strong reputation, and, in our opinion, she’s earned her place in this list of the world’s most famous female gamblers.

Annette Obrestad: The Youngest World Series of Poker Champion

Annette Obrestad, known for her one-of-a-kind poker face – and, of course, her exceptional poker skills – made history as the youngest World Series of Poker Europe champion. She was born in Norway in 1988, and she started to play poker when she was just 15 years old! By the time she turned 18, she had managed to become a formidable force in the online poker world and had won more money than most of us make in a lifetime!

In 2007, at only 18 years and 364 days old, Annette won the first-ever WSOP Europe Main Event, earning a staggering £1 million prize. The impressive victory showcased her exceptional talent and set the stage for a successful career in poker.

In the years that followed, she continued to perform well in both live and online events. Her continued wins and multi-million-dollar earnings made her one of the most feared opponents at the table – and it’s said that some of the best male pros would sigh if they learned they were playing at the same table as her!

To us, it’s remarkable that Obrestad managed to see so much success at such a young age. Her achievements have had a huge impact on women in gambling, as she’s convinced many females to try poker out for themselves!

However, it wasn’t until 2013 that her career really started to take off. This happened when she won her first World Series of Poker gold bracelet. The win came during a No-Limit Hold’em Ladies event – a special and unique event put on by the WSOP each year to promote female empowerment and bring more female players into the game.

She won a huge amount of money by winning the tournament – but it wasn’t just the money that changed her life; she also became seen as one of the most competent live female players, and this reputation has stuck with her ever since.

Since her iconic win, she’s continued to be a massive winner in the game. For example, she won her second WSOP bracelet in 2016 in the 2016 No-Limit Hold’em event. As a result of this win, she ended up being crowned the Global Poker Index (GPI) Female Player of the Year in 2017.

Even more impressively, she won the GPI Female Player of the Year award in 2018 and 2019, too. In a recent interview, Bicknell revealed that she believes her edge is due to her strong work ethic, dedication to improving her game, and her ability to stay focused under pressure.

A Complete Guide to Poker Chips casino login crazy time

Today, we’re going to be talking all about poker chips – the unsung heroes of every poker game. Whether you’re a casual player looking for a nice set of chips for poker nights, or a professional wanting an expensive collector’s piece, this guide will show you all you need to know about buying and looking after poker chips. We’ll help you choose the best ones for your games, look at how to assign values to your chips, and much more. Let’s get started!

Choosing the Best Poker Chips for Your Home

Regardless of whether you play Five Card Draw Poker or any other variation, the best poker chips can be a game-changer for your casino nights. The weight, texture, and design can drastically enhance the gaming experience for all the players involved.

But how do you select the best poker chips? What should you consider when buying a poker chip set? How do you assign value to your chips? If you’re looking for answers to any of these questions, then you’ve come to the right place. In today’s post, we’ll answer these questions and give you all the information you need to make informed decisions when buying chips.

Poker is quickly gaining popularity in the US, especially in states where it’s now legal. If you’re looking for online poker in Pennsylvania, make sure you check out our list of recommended poker websites, all of which have been hand-picked by our team of online gambling experts.

Poker Chips Set: How to Choose for Different Games

When selecting a poker chips set, several factors come into play. First and foremost, consider the type of poker game you play most frequently. For example, if you’re playing tournaments with re-buy options, you’ll need to have more casino chips than if you’re playing small cash games with a few friends.

If you don’t yet know what type of poker games you’ll be playing, it’s best to overestimate rather than underestimate. A basic set of poker chips usually includes around 300 chips, enough for 5-6 players. If you often host larger games, consider a set with 500 or even 1,000 chips.

Once you’ve decided on the rough number of chips you need, it’s time to decide on the material. Plastic chips are lightweight and affordable, making them a good choice for beginners or casual games.

However, if you want to create more of a casino-like atmosphere, consider spending a bit more on clay or metal chips. These professional casino chips are much more like the ones you play with in a land-based casino, and they have that satisfying weightiness when you pick them up.

It’s also really important to look at whether the chips come with pre-printed denominations on them. Cheaper sets often do, which can be helpful for beginners. However, experienced players often prefer chips without denominations as it gives them more control to assign their own values to the chips. Chips without pre-printed denominations also lend themselves more to tournament play.

A final thing to consider is the case holding the chips. If you buy an expensive set of professional casino chips, they’ll usually come in a sturdy, leather case, making it easy to travel with. However, cheaper sets often come in simple plastic – so keep this in mind.

If you’re looking for people to play against, why not had online? Just make sure you play at one of the best online poker sites to ensure you’re treated fairly.

How to Assign Value to Your Poker Chips

If your poker chips already come with values assigned to them, you can skip past this step. However, if you’ve purchased blank chips, you may be wondering what exactly to do with them, and how to assign the correct values to them. Believe it or not, this is actually much harder than it may seem, and you’ll need to take a number of factors into account.

In low-stakes home games, it’s common to assign the white chip as the lowest value one, followed by red, blue, and then green or black as the highest.

Remember, the goal is to have enough chips of each denomination to allow the game to run smoothly, without you running out of chips too early. You’ll usually find this requires you to have a lot more lower-value chips, as they’re used more frequently.

Thankfully, one of the best things about playing poker at home is that if you do run out of chips, you can quite easily swap-out the high value chips for simple slips of paper, or even coins.

Maintaining Your Poker Chips

Taking good care of your poker chips is important if you want them to last a long time, and this is especially relevant if you’ve spent a lot of money buying the best poker chips you could find.

You should clean your chips frequently, being careful not to use strong chemicals or rough tools that could damage the surface of the chips. We recommend cleaning them gently using a soft cloth or a gentle brush, some mild soap, and warm water. This will get rid of any dirt or grime without you having to worry about damaging them.

It’s also important to think about how you’re going to store your chips. When they’re not being played with, you should try to keep them in a case or a chip carrier to protect them from dust, moisture, and being dropped on the floor. If you’re planning to store them for a long time, make sure to find a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight so the colors don’t fade.

It’s also good to be mindful of how you use the chips when you’re playing with them. If you’re playing with a few friends for a low amount of money, and will probably be getting tipsy, it’s best to avoid high-end chips, as it’s likely they’ll end up on the floor at some point! In higher-stakes settings, try not to drop them, step on them, or stack them too high, as this could end up chipping or cracking the chips.

Spotting Counterfeit Poker Chips

Counterfeit poker chips are a real concern, especially for collectors or those spending a lot of money on high-end chips. One of the key things to look for when buying chips is consistency. If you notice inconsistencies in the color, weight, or design of the chips, there’s a good chance they could be counterfeit. Genuine chips have a specific weight – usually between 8.5 and 10.6 grams – and all chips in a set will weigh the same.

Another good method of spotting counterfeit chips is to look at the edges. Authentic poker chips are usually sharper and more defined, whereas counterfeit chips tend to have softer, rounded edges. The sound of the chip can also provide information on their authenticity. For example, genuine clay chips have a distinctive ‘clink’ when they hit each other, while counterfeit chips often produce a pretty low, dull sound.

If you’re buying high-end chips, you can also consider using a UV or black light. The most expensive professional poker chips in the world often have certain markings or inks that only show up under this type of light, although we should note this is only for collectors; you don’t need to worry about this unless you’re spending thousands of dollars.

The Evolution of Poker Chips

Poker chips have a fascinating history, with the earliest poker games using gold nuggets and coins. Chips have since evolved, and today are available in a wide variety of colors, sizes, and materials.

Before conventional poker chips were invented, players would place their bets using pretty much anything that had some value. As noted, in the very early days – we’re talking the 1800s here – players would use gold nuggets, coins, and even gold dust to place their bets. As you can imagine, this wasn’t without its challenges. It was also difficult to accurately compare the value of different “chips”, leading to frequent disputes and confusion.

This led to the introduction of standardized betting tokens, often made from bone, wood, or ivory. However, these were easy to forge, so, by the late 1800s, poker rooms and gambling establishments in the US began to create clay chips, marking the beginning of the modern era of poker chips as we know them today.

Today, chips are typically made of plastic or a clay composite and are available in an array of colors, designs, and denominations. In the past, chip sets were made of ivory, but this is now illegal in most countries, and it’s heavily frowned upon for collectors to have ivory chip sets. Below, we’ve included an interesting table looking at some of the key differences between modern poker chips and those from the past:

What makes a poker chip “the best”?

The best poker chip depends on your personal preferences. Things like weight, material, and design play a big role in determining whether or not you’ll like a particular style of chip. For many, the best chips are those that give a satisfying clink when tossed in the pot, which are usually those made from clay.

How do I choose the best poker chips set for my game?

Choosing the best poker chips involves looking at several factors. You should consider the material; clay and ceramic are usually indicative of high-quality chips. You want to make sure the poker chips set has enough chips for the games you’ll be running, and you also need to decide whether or not you need chips with pre-assigned values.

How should I maintain and clean my poker chips?

Maintaining your poker chips should involve gentle, regular cleaning. Use a mild detergent mixed with water and a soft cloth. Wipe each chip individually, making sure not to soak them, as this can lead to discoloration and damage. After cleaning, thoroughly dry them to prevent water damage.

How can I tell if a poker chip is fake?

To spot fake poker chips, start by looking at their weight, texture, and color. Real chips have a specific weight range, usually between 8 and 14 grams, and all chips in a set should feel the same when held. Their color should be consistent throughout, and the design details should be sharp and without imperfections.

When were poker chips first used?

The first poker chips were introduced at the end of the 1800s. Before that, poker players would use any valuable items available to them, including gold nuggets or coins. Later, bone, wood, or clay would be used to represent money, so there was no confusion over bet values.

9 Things You Need to Know About Penny Bonus Slots casino login crazy time

Penny slot machines are the most-popular games in the casino. Gaming reports from prominent jurisdictions, like Nevada, show that penny slots pull in the most revenue.

One thing that makes these games so attractive is the simple word “penny.” Many players see this word and immediately envision being able to gamble for cheap.

These slots are certainly cheap on a per-bet basis. However, they can be much more expensive than many players realize.

This is just one of the misconceptions that people have about these slot machines. I’m going to cover more of the biggest fallacies surrounding penny slots.

1 – You Only Have to Spend a Penny to Play

Despite what the name suggests, most penny slot machines don’t cost just $0.01 to play. They instead require upwards of a dollar or more.

The word penny only refers to how much you need to bet on each line. These games often have a number of fixed paylines, meaning you have to play every available line.

Such slots aren’t so expensive when dealing with a 10 or 20-line game. However, some machines have between 100 and 300 lines.

Betting $1 to $3 per spin isn’t what most people have in mind. But that’s exactly what they have to spend in some cases.

Megabucks, an extremely popular slot machine in Las Vegas, requires one to play 300 fixed lines at $0.01 apiece. Considering that it also only offers 88% payback, Megabucks can be quite costly to play.

When many gamblers think of penny slots, they envision having the option to only wager $0.01 per round. But the average penny game requires much more.

These slot machines can be costly because casinos have to make their profits. Land-based venues especially need a large amount of revenue to counteract their overhead costs, including physical machines, staff members, and utilities.

They’ll have a much tougher time covering bills if they allow everybody to wager one penny per spin. Gambling venues want to make sure that players give them enough action to make it worth running a casino.

2 – Penny Slots Are Great for Low Rollers

You can see from the first point that slot machines aren’t exactly cheap. Your bet sizes will often range from $0.25 to $1 per spin based on the fixed lines.

This betting range isn’t so bad when compared to table games like baccarat and blackjack, which often require minimum bets of at least $10 in land-based casinos. But what makes penny slots costly is the fast play rate.

Most people play slot machines at a speed of between 500 and 600 spins per hour. This rate is about five to six times how quickly quickly a baccarat, blackjack, or roulette game moves.

A quarter bet suddenly doesn’t seem so cheap when you must make it hundreds of times every hour. Add in that some slot machines have a high house advantage, and you’re dealing with a more-expensive game.

Here’s an example to illustrate this point:

  • You’re playing a slot with a $1 minimum bet.
  • You spin the reels 600 times per hour.
  • 600 x 1 = $600 in total bets
  • The house edge on this game is 8%.
  • 600 x 0.08 = $48 in losses per hour

Many low rollers think that slot machines are the perfect games for them. But they don’t realize that these games have the potential to quickly take their money.

This problem only becomes exacerbated when adding in the high volatility of slot machines. Given the wide variation of payouts in any given slot, these games can’t pay out as frequently as other casino offerings.

Here’s a very simple pay table to illustrate this point:

  • 3 Jets = 50,000 coins
  • 3 airplanes = 5,000 coins
  • 3 hot-air balloons = 500 coins
  • 3 jetpacks = 100 coins
  • 3 birds = 10 coins

Casinos need to compensate for how this game is offering 50,000 coins as a top prize. After all, they can’t any money on a slot that pays frequently and has big jackpots.

Therefore, slot machines pay less often than almost every other casino game. This high volatility means that you won’t earn as many small wins to help sustain your bankroll.

Of course, I’m not saying that you shouldn’t ever play penny slots as a low roller. But don’t expect your money to last far longer than when dealing with table games that have a fairly cheap minimum wager.

3 – You Can’t Win Much with Penny Slot Machines

Some people think that penny slots are good for cheap thrills, but they don’t offer very large payouts. The same crowd believes that only those who make big bets have a chance at winning big.

These players aren’t completely wrong in this belief. After all, making larger bets gives you a chance to win bigger payouts.

Here’s an example:

  • A game’s top non-jackpot prize is 10,000x your line bet.
  • This payout is worth the following based on your line wager size:
  • $1 bet = $10,000 prize
  • $0.50 bet = $5,000
  • $0.25 = $2,500
  • $0.10 = $1,000
  • $0.01 = $100

The above scenario illustrates how your payouts increase proportionately based on how much you’re betting. But some slot machines offer huge progressive jackpots that let you qualify for a fairly small wager.

The Megabucks game mentioned earlier has paid out a record $39.7 million jackpot. Mega Moolah, an online penny slot, has delivered a prize worth over $20 million.

The chances of you earning a windfall like this are slim. But you can see that penny slot machines do pay well in comparison to other games.

4 – Online Casinos Don’t Have “Penny Slots”

Penny slot machines are commonly thought to be something that’s only available at land-based casinos. After all, many gambling establishments heavily push penny games.

But online casinos also have penny slots — they’re just not called as such. The reason why is because internet casinos typically offer very flexible betting options.

A common setup involves a game where players can adjust their bet per line from $0.01 to $1. Choosing a one cent bet size means that you’re essentially playing a penny slot.

The great thing about flexible betting options is that you can tailor the game to your bankroll. Only have $20? Then you can find plenty of slots that have 20 or fewer fixed lines and wager a penny per line.

In some cases, you don’t even have to play all the lines. You can set your wagering options to one payline and a one cent coin size. This scenario isn’t what many beginning gamblers envision when they hear the term penny slots.

I’m not a big fan of only using a handful of lines. After all, the volatility of slot machines makes it very difficult to pick up wins in each round with so few chances.

But the reasoning behind playing a few lines when you don’t have a very large bankroll makes sense. Virtually anybody can enjoy slots for just one cent or a nickel per round.

5 – These Games Don’t Offer Many Comps

Comps are one of the best things about gambling. You can pick up these reward by playing a variety of casino games.

Penny slot machines are among the most-notable games that offer comps. But many players mistakenly believe that these slots don’t offer many rewards.

The reason why is because the game’s name makes it seem like you won’t be comped very well. This idea would certainly be true if you were only wagering one penny per spin.

But you also have to consider your total bet size and the quick play rate. Based on these two factors, penny slot machines can qualify for just as much, if not more, rewards than other casino games.

Here’s an example to explain:

  • You bet $5,000 total on a penny slot.
  • The comp rate is 0.1%.
  • 5,000 x 0.001 = $5 in rewards

You can see that you’re not getting much value in terms of comps. However, this scenario is typical of any casino game.

Gambling establishments don’t just hand back all the money they make off gamblers. They instead offer a small percentage based on how much people are betting.

Penny slots, like any other game, won’t give you access to the penthouse suite and private jet transportation. You need to bet like a high roller in order to get the best comps.

But even as an average gambler, you’ll earn a fair amount of rewards based on your play. Penny slots see you bet enough to get decent rewards over time.

6 – Penny Slots Are Cheaper Than Table Games like Blackjack & Roulette

One reason why casual gamblers choose penny slot machines over table games is because they expect a low-risk gaming session. They think that slots will be so much cheaper than sitting down to a blackjack or roulette table.

They’re technically right on a per-bet basis. Land-based casinos usually require you to wager anywhere from $10 to $25 per round/hand.

Online casinos let you play baccarat, blackjack, craps, and roulette for as cheap as $1 per turn. But even in these cases, penny slots seem like the less-risky alternative to table games.

This rule isn’t universal, though, because penny slots can also be expensive. Again, you have to consider how quickly these games move.

Unlike a blackjack or baccarat hand, a slots spin is done within seconds. Earlier I mentioned how the average player spins the reels around 600 times per hour.

This fast rate means that penny slot machines are close to the same cost as table games per hour.

Here’s an example:

  • You make 600 bets an hour on a penny slot worth $1 apiece.
  • 600 x 1 = $600 total wagered
  • The house edge is 5%.
  • 600 x 0.05 = $30 in theoretical losses with slots
  • You make 60 wagers an hour at a blackjack table worth $10 apiece.
  • 60 x 10 = $600 total wagered
  • The house edge on this game is 2%.
  • 600 x 0.02 = $12 in theoretical losses with blackjack

You can, of course, visit online casinos to truly play for $0.01 or less. But the trade-off is that playing one cent on one line doesn’t give you a chance to win big.

You can, of course, do things to slow down how quickly you’re playing, like take breaks and browse your smartphone every so often. But slots are the most fun when you can play them at a consistent rate.

7 – Penny Slot Machines Don’t Pay

Another misconception behind penny slots is that nobody wins. Those who believe this aren’t totally off-base when considering how the average session goes.

Many players will put between $20 and $100 into a machine and quickly see the money vanish. Reasons why include the fast play rate, high house edge, and volatility.

These three factors combine to drain your money pretty quickly in most cases. But they don’t stop penny slot machines from paying out in the long run.

They’re just like any other casino game in that they have a house advantage. A slot machine with a 5% house edge technically gives you around the same chance to win as American roulette (5.26% house advantage).

The lack of consistent payouts is what makes it seem like you don’t have a great chance to win. You’ll earn less-frequent prizes on penny slot machines, which means that your money has a tendency to disappear quicker.

But you also have the potential to win large payouts that can more than make up for previous losses. If you play penny slots long enough, you’re going to be paid almost as often with these games as many other options in the casino.

8 – These Games Are Designed to Trick Players

Perhaps the craziest misconception about penny slot machines is they’re designed to fool gamblers. This idea comes from players who get mad after quickly seeing their $20 vanish.

They expect to get more entertainment out of their money, given that they’re playing penny games. But they leave the casino disappointed upon seeing that their funds didn’t last as long.

The same gamblers would do well to learn how slot machines work. All results are based on a random number generator (RNG), which is a program that produces random results.

The RNG cycles through countless payout combinations to determine outcomes. This process ensures that you can’t manipulate slots results in anyway.

Again, other factors like a high house edge, volatility, and quick play rate also combine to eat away at your bankroll. The end result is that penny slots have the potential to take your money quicker than many other games.

However, just because you lose in a session doesn’t mean that machines are tricking you. The results are legitimate — it’s just that a combination of other factors create plenty of unpredictability in your short-term winnings.

9 – You Can Play for a While with $20

I’ve mentioned the sum $20 several times in this post. The reason being is that my first experience with penny slots involved inserting $20 into a game and losing it all in minutes.

I couldn’t believe that something called a penny slot could take my money so quickly. I was severely disappointed and didn’t play these games for a while afterward.

But then I began learning more about penny slot machines and realized that they all work differently. Your $20 won’t last for the same amount of time on one game as it will another.

Everything starts with understanding fixed paylines. Most of these games don’t actually cost a penny to play; they instead require at least a quarter or more based on the number of fixed lines.

Like always, you also have to consider the volatility involved. Earning less-frequent wins means that your bankroll will continue diminishing until you hit a large payout.

Of course, nothing is stopping you from playing a slot machine with $20 or less. You can actually enjoy many online slots fairly cheaply with this amount.

Here’s an example on how many total bets you could have with an internet game:

  • You have a $15 bankroll.
  • You play a penny online slot that allows for adjustable lines and coin size.
  • You play one cent on 10 lines ($0.10 total bet).
  • 15 / 0.1 = 150 total bets

Given the unpredictability of slot machines, it’s difficult to say how long these 150 betting units will last. However, this is a fair number of wagers for such a small bankroll.

Penny slot machines aren’t quite what the name makes them out to be. As long as you understand the misconceptions behind penny slots, then you can enjoy these games without ever being disappointed.

The first thing to realize is that these slots normally cost more than one cent to play. Many penny slot machines have fixed lines that must all be played.

Oftentimes, you must bet between $0.25 and $0.50 to use every line — sometimes more. Factoring in the high rate of play and volatility, penny slots can get expensive pretty fast.

If you’re a low roller, then you shouldn’t expect a small bankroll to last an extremely long time. Slots have high volatility, which means that they pay out in short bursts, rather than frequently.

Of course, you can still enjoy penny slots relatively cheaply in online casinos. Some internet slots let you adjust your coin size and lines, which means you can technically wager as little as $0.01 per spin.

The main takeaway is that you shouldn’t expect to play penny slot machines for drastically less than other common casino games. You’ll likely be playing a number of fixed lines at a high rate.

You should, therefore, mentally prepare yourself for a lot of losing sessions. The bright side, though, is that you’ll eventually hit some big payouts and bonus wins to counteract some or all of your previous losses.

How to Play Cajun Stud Bonus Poker casino login crazy time

One of the big trends in new casino games is to take a poker variation and turn it into a house-banked casino game where you play against the dealer instead of against the other players. Cajun Stud Poker is one of this new breed of game.

I don’t think of these games as really being poker games. Instead, I consider games like Cajun Stud to be faux poker. One of the essential aspects of a poker game is the competition between you and the other players at the table.

Cajun Stud is the brainchild of a company called Galaxy Gaming, which makes a number of these kinds of card games.

The game is based loosely on 5-card stud, but it also has elements of Texas hold’em (community cards). You start by placing an ante bet. Then you have opportunities to raise or fold during the exposure of the cards. The game also features side bets.

The Rules for Playing Cajun Stud Poker

You play Cajun Stud with a standard deck of 52 cards. You start the game by placing a bet called an ante, and you can also place additional side bets — the board bonus bet, the pocket bonus bet, and the lo ball bet (I’ll cover the payouts for those bets later in this post).

Once you’ve placed your initial bet, you get two cards. The dealer also deals three community cards face-down.

After you’ve looked at your cards, you have the following options:

  • You can fold
  • You can raise

The size of your raise must be one or three times the size of the ante bet. This is your third street bet.

After that phase of betting is complete, the dealer flips over one of the three community cards.

Then, there’s another betting round with the same options. This is your fourth street bet.

After that, you get to see the next community card. You can again raise or fold. This is your fifth street bet.

Once that betting action is completed, the dealer reveals the final community card and pays off the bets.

Cajun Stud Poker Showing Three Community Cards

With the knowledge of four cards, the player may again raise 1x to 3x his ante bet or fold.

Cajun Stud Bets and Payouts

The ante and raise bets get paid out based on the value of your 5-card poker hand.

It pays off as follows:

  • Royal flush pays off at 500 to 1
  • Straight flush pays off at 100 to 1
  • Four of a kind pays off at 40 to 1
  • Full house pays off at 10 to 1
  • Flush pays off at 6 to 1
  • Straight pays off at 4 to 1
  • Three of a kind pays off at 3 to 1
  • Two pair pays off at 2 to 1
  • A pair of jacks or higher pays off at even money
  • A pair of 6s, 7s, 8s, 9s, or 10s results in a push
  • Any other hand results in a loss for the player

The board bonus bet is paid off based on the three community cards only.

It pays off as follows:

  • Royal flush pays off at 50 to 1
  • Straight flush pays off at 40 to 1
  • Three of a kind pays off at 30 to 1
  • Straight pays off at 6 to 1
  • Flush pays off at 3 to 1
  • A pair pays off at even money
  • Any other hand results in a loss for the player

The pocket bonus is paid off based on your two cards.

It pays off as follows:

  • A pair of aces pays off at 25 to 1
  • A suited ace and a face card pay off at 20 to 1
  • An unsuited ace and a face card pay off at 10 to 1
  • Any other pair pays off at 5 to 1
  • Any other hand results in a loss for the player

The lo ball bet is paid off based on the final 5-card hand, but the goal is to have a low hand.

It pays off as follows:

  • 7 high pays off at 100 to 1
  • 8 high pays off at 50 to 1
  • 9 high pays off at 15 to 1
  • 10 high pays off at 5 to 1
  • Jack high pays off at even money
  • Any other hand results in a loss for the player
Probability, Odds, and the House Edge for Cajun Stud Poker

The house edge for the game, assuming you play with perfect strategy, is 1.4%. If you have no understanding of the strategy for the game, you can safely add between 2% and 4% to that number to account for the strategy mistakes you’ll surely make during the game.

The house edge for the side bets is much higher, and you should just skip the side bets altogether. We’re talking about 7% to 8%, which is worse than the house edge for American roulette, which is no great game, either.

You should put some effort into learning the strategy for Cajun Stud if you’re going to play. If you can afford it, you might also consider trying baccarat, where no strategy is necessary, and the house edge is comparable or better.

Cajun Stud Poker Strategy and How to Win More Often

The first strategy tip is simple enough.

Skip the side bets. The house edge is too high.

After that, strategy is as simple as knowing how much to bet at the various stages of your hands.

The first decision you have to make is on your third street bet. You should raise 3x the size of the ante if you have a pocket pair. Raise 2x the size of the ante if you have at least one high card. You should also raise 2x the size of the ante if you have two cards ranked between 6 and 10. Also, if you have the 5 and 6 of the same suit, you should raise 2x the ante.

You should fold if you have two cards lower than 6 unless you have 5-6 suited.

Once you’ve seen the first community card, you should raise 3x the size of the ante if you have any hand that’s already a winner (a made hand). You should also raise 3x the ante if you have a draw to a royal flush or to a straight flush.

You should raise the size of the ante if you have a flush draw, three cards ranked 6 through 10, or if you have a straight draw.

Otherwise, you should fold.

When you’ve seen the second community card, you should raise 3x the size of the ante with any made hand, any flush draw, and any outside straight draw.

You should raise the size of the ante with an inside straight draw, a low-ranked pair, or four cards ranked 6 through 10.

Cajun Stud Poker is a reasonably good casino game version of poker with a reasonably low house edge if you can remember how to play with the correct strategy. It’s a combination of stud poker, and Texas hold’em. If you had to compare it to anything, it probably most closely resembles Mississippi Stud.

Remember, you should skip all the side bets.

The house edge is too high to make any of those bets attractive.

Then just keep in mind the relative value of the cards. Suited cards and connected cards are valuable because of their potential to make flushes and straights. High cards are valuable because the higher the pair is, the better it pays. Low pairs don’t pay well at all.

Also, and this is the easiest part of the strategy to remember:

Always raise the max if you have a made hand.

Beginners Guide to Playing Joker Bonus Poker casino login crazy time

Joker Poker is a video poker game that’s also sometimes called “Joker Wild.” Almost all VP (video poker) games are just variations of Jacks or Better, and Joker Poker is no exception. The difference between it and Jacks or Better boils down to the inclusion of a wild card — the joker.

Joker Poker is played with a virtual 53-card deck instead of a 52-card deck. The pay table is changed to compensate for the greater likelihood of a high-ranking hand.

This post includes everything you need to know to play Joker Poker.

The Basics of Joker Poker

Almost all video poker games follow the same format, including Joker Poker. You insert money, and it’s converted into credits based on the denomination of the machine.

For Example:

If you’re playing on a quarter ($0.25) machine and insert $100, you have 400 credits.

That same $100 would only be 100 credits on a dollar machine.

You then decide how many credits you want to risk on a hand. You can choose between 1 and 5 credits, but you should ALWAYS choose 5 credits. The reason for this is simple but not readily important.

The top jackpot in any video poker game is a royal flush — the 10, jack, queen, king, and ace of a single suit.

That hand pays off at 200 for 1, with one exception.

If you’ve played for 5 credits, you get an 800 for 1 payout for a royal flush. That’s a big enough difference in your payout to have a major effect on your payback percentage for the game.

We should talk about payback percentage before we go much further, too.

When you discuss a casino game, it has a house edge and a payback percentage. People usually talk about the house edge when they’re discussing a table game; they talk about a payback percentage when they’re talking about a gambling machine.

They’re like two sides of the same coin. In fact, if you add the house edge and the payback percentage together, the result is always 100%.

The house edge is the statistical advantage the casino has over the player, expressed as a percentage of each bet that the casino expects to win over the long run.

The payback percentage is the amount of money that the casino statistically expects to pay back on each bet.

If we say that a casino game has a house edge of 1%, then that means that the odds and payouts create a situation where the casino expects to win $1 for every $100 you bet. But that’s an average amount over a huge number of trials. In the short run, anything can happen.

If we say that a casino game has a payback percentage of 99%, then that means that every time you bet $100, the casino expects to pay you $99 back in winnings. This, too, is a statistical average.

Your goal when playing any game where the casino has an edge is to keep that edge as small as possible, which is the same thing as keeping the payback percentage as high as possible.

So it makes sense to always make the bet that offers you the biggest payback percentage, everything else being equal.

The probability of getting a royal flush is always small. You’ll only see that hand once every 40,000 hands or so, even with the wild card. That’s because a wild royal flush doesn’t pay out the same as a real royal flush.

Anyway, always bet 5 coins.

Once you’ve chosen your bet size, the Joker Poker machine “deals” you a five-card hand. You can choose to keep or discard each card in your hand, which gives you a total of 32 possible ways to play each hand, varying from keeping all five cards to discarding all five cards and everything in between.

Each way of playing a hand offers an expected return. This is the probability of each hand that you might wind up with multiplied by the payout for that hand. This makes Joker Poker a game of skill as well as a game of chance. The more mistakes you make in your strategy, the lower the payback percentage for the game is.

After you’ve chosen which cards to keep and which ones to throw away, the machine deals you replacement cards and pays you off based on the pay table for the game. That pay table is based on the standard ranking of poker hands.

The pay tables for Joker Poker vary from machine to machine, so I should spend some time explaining Joker Poker pay tables.

An Explanation of Joker Poker Pay Tables

I’ll assume that you’re going to make the 5-coin max bet on any given game, and I’ll feature the payouts for each hand on an X for Y basis. I should point out something important about that, too.

When you’re playing table games, the odds that a bet pays off are expressed as X to Y.

For Example:

A single-number bet on a roulette table pays off at 35 to 1.

This means if you bet $1, you get your dollar back, AND you get $35 in winnings.

Gambling machines, though, don’t give you the original bet back. They deduce that amount before spinning the reels or dealing the cards. Any winnings you get are in exchange FOR the bet you just made.

An even-money payout at the blackjack table results in a profit.

An even-money payout at a video poker game results in breaking even.

Here’s the best possible Joker Poker pay table, otherwise known as a “full pay” Joker Poker game:

  • A natural royal flush pays off at 800 for 1
  • A five of a kind pays off at 200 for 1
  • A wild royal flush pays off at 100 for 1
  • A straight flush pays off at 50 for 1
  • A four of a kind pays off at 20 for 1
  • A full house pays off at 7 for 1
  • A flush pays off at 5 for 1
  • A straight pays off at 3 for 1
  • A three of a kind pays off at 2 for 1
  • Two pair pays off at 1 for 1
  • A pair of kings or higher pays off at 1 for 1

The payback percentage for this game, if you play with optimal strategy, is 100.64%. This means that you have a 0.64% edge over the house, which is an unusual situation.

How is that payback percentage calculated?

You use a computer algorithm to determine the probability of getting each payout. That probability multiplied by the size of the payout is the expected return for that bet. Since there are multiple possible outcomes, you add up the expected return for each outcome to get the overall expected return for the game.

The probability of winding up with nothing at all is about 55%. Multiply that by winnings of $0, and that adds 0% to the payback percentage.

A pair of kings or aces, though, pays off at 1 for 1, and the probability of winding up with that hand is 14.2%. This adds 14.2% to the overall payback percentage for the game.

Two pair happens slightly less often — 11.1% of the time. That adds 11.1%, giving you 25.3% of your overall total payback percentage.

Three of a kind actually happens more often — 13.4% of the time. (That’s because of the wild card.) Since that pays off at 2 for 1, that adds 26.8% to the payback percentage.

Those three hands account for over half the game’s statistical winnings. They just come up that much more frequently than the other hands.

When you continue those calculations and add them all up, you wind up with 100.64%.

But you’ll come across many variations of these pay tables. A more common Joker Poker pay table pays out the same as above, only with smaller payouts for five of a kind (150 instead of 200) and a wild royal flush (80 instead of 100). That changes the payback percentage to 99.98%.

You can find Joker Poker games with a theoretical payback percentage as low as 94%, which is still better than most slot machine games. Still, my recommendation is to stick with video poker games where you can get a payback percentage of 98% or better.

Most Joker Poker video poker games offer a payback percentage at least that high, too. Only the stingiest of casinos offer a worse pay table than that.

The Best Strategy for Joker Poker

Video poker strategies are similar to blackjack basic strategy. They tell you how to play any possible hand you get. Their presentation is different, though.

In blackjack basic strategy, you have your total along the left and the dealer’s face-up card along the top. You cross-index the two to determine the optimal way to play your hand.

But in video poker, you don’t need to cross-index anything. You just have your hand, and your goal is to wind up with the best possible expected return.

So a video poker strategy card is just a list of cards you might have in your hand, from best to worst. You start at the top and read down until you get to a hand that matches what you’re holding. The highest hand on that list that matches your hand represents the cards you should keep.

You should never deviate from basic video poker strategy, by the way, no matter how strong your hunches are. The math doesn’t lie. The gamblers who lose the least and win the most listen to the math behind probability, not their hunches.

Joker Poker strategy charts aren’t perfect, though, because of the staggering number of potential card combinations you might have. Still, even a simplified strategy card should get you within 0.1% of the expected return for playing the game with optimal strategy.

In games with one or more wild cards, you’ll usually have two strategy cards to look at. One fundamental thing to remember about wild card video poker games is this.

You NEVER discard a wild card.

For a hand without a joker, a reasonable strategy might look like the below scenario.

Always keep a pat royal flush, straight flush, or four of a kind. You would, of course, never break up any of these hands to try to improve them. The payouts are too high, for one thing. And most of them can’t be improved, for another.

Aside from those hands, you will ALWAYS draw to four cards to a royal flush. The payout is so big for this hand that you would even break up a pat hand to try to get the royal flush. The only possible pat hand you might have, though, would be a pair of kings or aces or a flush or straight. The difference in payout is so great that it’s worth giving up the sure payout, though.

After that, the best hands you can have are a pat full house or a pat flush.

An open straight flush draw is the next best option. An open draw is one where you have cards on either side of the straight that can fill your straight, as opposed to an inside straight draw, where you need one card and one card only.

Here’s an Example:

  • A 5-6-7-8 of one suit is open-ended because a 4 or a 9 can complete your straight.
  • A 5-6-8-9 of one suit is an inside draw because only a 7 can complete the straight.

Then, prefer three of a kind.

Then, inside straight flush draw.

Then, a pat straight. Notice that you’ll throw away a card to try to achieve your straight flush even if it means breaking up your straight.

Then, two pair.

After that, it starts to get more granular and complicated. Generally, though, you’ll try to hold three cards to a royal flush instead of a pair. You’re looking at the following factors for determining which cards to keep:

  • Suitedness
  • Connectedness
  • Rank

The strategy table for the wild card looks similar, although you want to keep in mind that you’re never going to throw away a wild card.

Learning how to play Joker Poker is dead easy if you have any experience playing Jacks or Better or other video poker games. If you’re brand new to VP games, you can probably still get to where you need to be quickly with the guide in this post.

I like Joker Poker because it’s a nice midway point between Jacks or Better and Deuces Wild, which has four wild cards. The inclusion of the wild cards changes the game, but since Joker Poker only includes one, it’s not as drastic a strategic change.

How to Win Baccarat Bonus casino login crazy time

Then — and this is again done according to the drawing rules — the dealer determines whether to deal the banker a third card.

After this is all adjudicated, the hand is finished, and the dealer announces the winner and collects and pays off bets.

It’s not necessary for the average baccarat player to understand how the drawing rules work, as the casino dealer does all the work.

But in case you’re wondering…

How the Drawing Rules Work in Baccarat

The dealer checks the player’s hand first to see if it gets a third card. The rules for this are simple.

If the player hand is 5 or less, the hand gets a third card.

Otherwise, the hand doesn’t get a third card.

After that’s determined, the dealer decides whether to deal a third card to the banker hand.

The first consideration is whether the player got a third card. If the player hand stood pat, then the banker hand follows the same rules as the player hand.

But if the player took a third card, the rules for the banker get more complicated, and they’re based on the banker hand’s total and the value of the player’s third card, as follows:

  • The banker hand always gets a third card if the hand’s total is 2
  • The banker hand gets a third card if the hand’s total is 3 and the player hand’s third card was an 8
  • The banker hand gets a third card if the hand’s total is 4 and the player hand’s third card was 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7
  • The banker gets a third card if the hand’s total is 5 and the player hand’s third card was 4, 5, 6, or 7
  • The banker gets a third card if the hand’s total is 6 and the player hand’s third card was 6 or 7
  • If the banker hand has a total of 7, it stands pat

The hand with the higher total score wins.

The Bets Available at the Baccarat Table

You have three possible bets at the baccarat table:

  • Player
  • Banker
  • Tie

The player bet pays off at even money.

The banker bet pays off at 19 to 20 odds, which is the same thing as an even-money payoff minus a 5% commission.

The tie bet pays off at 8 to 1.

Here are examples:

  • You bet $100 on the player and win. You get your $100 back, and you also get $100 in winnings
  • You bet $100 on the banker and win. You get your $100 back, and you also get $95 in winnings
  • You bet $100 on a tie and win. You get your $100 back, and you also get $800 in winnings

If this sounds like a lot to you, baccarat might not be the appropriate game for you. In many casinos, baccarat is a high-roller game with minimum bets of $100 per hand. The maximum bet is usually $500, although it can be higher (in some cases, much higher) than that.

Can Baccarat Be Beaten?

Baccarat, like all casino games, can be beaten.

But only in the short run if you get lucky.

All the bets at the baccarat table have a mathematical edge for the casino. This means that in the long run, baccarat CANNOT be beaten.

There’s no strategy for baccarat because the only decisions you make are which bet to take. You don’t get to decide whether you hit or stand.

Card counting doesn’t work in baccarat, either. They’ve done the math, and you just can’t get enough of an edge from counting cards in baccarat to make it worth your while.

Varying the sizes of your bets based on what happened on previous bets doesn’t work in the long run, either. This is the most popular “baccarat strategy,” though.

You’ll find players keeping careful track of which bets are winning and how often. Some of them will jump on one side of the action or the other if it’s been winning a lot.

For example, you might sit down and play four hands of baccarat, and the player bet might win three of those hands. You might assume (wrongly) that the player bet wins 75% of the time, so you bet on the player.

Or you might assume that the probability of winning is roughly 50% for either side, so if the player bet has won three times in a row, a win for the banker is overdue. That doesn’t work, either.

You might raise the size of your bets after a loss to try to recoup your losses. That, too, doesn’t work.

The probabilities are determined by the cards in the deck. What happened in previous hands has a minimal effect on this in an eight-deck shoe. And the only reason past hands have ANY effect on the next hand’s probability is because it changes the composition of the deck (the cards that have been played are no longer in the deck).

But they’ve done the math. You can’t get an edge from counting cards in baccarat.

You might try the Martingale System, which is when you double the size of your bet after each loss. The problem is that the size of your bet gets too big too fast because there’s not much of a range between the minimum and maximum bets.

$100 – $200 – $400 – $800

If you lose three times in a row, you can’t make the next bet in the progression, so the system breaks down entirely.

The Martingale System doesn’t work with other games, either, but it’s especially ineffective in a situation where you have such a limited betting range.

What Is the Best Strategy for Baccarat?

The best strategy for baccarat is strangely simple.

Treat baccarat as a form of entertainment. You can’t win in the long run or make a living at baccarat, no matter what some of the slimy system-sellers might tell you. There’s no strategy for HOW to play your hand, so your best bet is to relax and enjoy the entertainment value of the game. In that respect, baccarat resembles slot machines or roulette.

Accept that entertainment costs money. Sometimes you’ll win at baccarat, and sometimes you’ll lose. You’ll lose more often than not, though, and those net losses are the cost of your entertainment. With this attitude, you’ll think of baccarat as being not much different from buying a book or paying for a movie.

Keep your entertainment costs as low as possible by placing the bet with the lowest house edge, every time. I’ve already mentioned the mathematical edge that the casino has over the player in baccarat. But I didn’t mention that it can be measured as a percentage.

This percentage is the amount that you’re statistically expected to lose from every bet on average over a long period of time. In other words, if the house edge is 1%, the casino expects to win $1 every time you wager $100.

Of course, that’s not what the actual outcomes will look like in the short run. That’s a predicted average that you’ll begin to see over hundreds or thousands of hands.

In some games, the house edge is the same no matter what bet you place.

But in baccarat, each of the three possible bets has a different house edge.

Your job is to pick the bet with the lowest house edge. That’s the best bet.

What Is the Best Bet in Baccarat?

The best bet in baccarat is a bet on the banker. The house edge for the banker bet is only 1.06%.

The player bet isn’t terrible, either. The house edge is 1.24%. It’s not a terrible bet when compared to other bets in the casino, but there’s no legitimate, logical reason for placing the player bet instead of the banker bet.

The tie bet, though, is not an attractive bet — even when compared to average bets at other casino games. The payout is attractive, sure, but the house edge is 14.4%.

Here’s one warning, too: Don’t rely on hunches.

You’re not psychic.

You won’t be able to predict what’s going to happen on the next hand regardless of how strong a feeling you have.

Just place the banker bet repeatedly, regardless of what happened in the previous hand.

But I Want to Win for Sure

Of course, you do.

Who doesn’t?

But if there were a way to win at baccarat for sure, the casinos wouldn’t offer the game.

They’re not in the business of paying out money to winners. They’re in the business of taking money from losers.

If you want a surefire way of not losing, I can offer you that — don’t play.

You might be disappointed that a post titled “How to Win at Baccarat (for Sure)” doesn’t have a surefire way to win at the game of baccarat.

I’d submit, though, that anyone who DOES offer you a surefire way to win is suggesting that you cheat (a felony in Nevada) or is lying about the efficacy of their method.

Either way, I’ve done you a better service than that.

The good news is that, even though you can’t possibly win at baccarat in the long run, the house edge for the game is low enough to make it worth playing.

And it can be a lot of fun, too.
